Introduction:

To protect personnel at hazardous locations, IQ-OHS created the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) programme. When these rigorous standards are implemented appropriately, they safeguard their safety and health. OSHA laws apply to all of our courses. Get certified with our 24- or 40-hour courses, or renew your HAZWOPER certification with our 8-hour refresher.

The 8-hour Refresher Course course satisfies the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 standard for 8 (eight) hours of yearly refresher training for personnel at hazardous waste sites. This training is intended for general site employees who remove hazardous waste or who are exposed to or are at risk of being exposed to hazardous chemicals or health hazards.

The 24-hour training covers a wide range of topics related to danger identification on the job. 24 HAZWOPER hour is necessary for personnel visiting a government-mandated Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation.

The 40-hour training is developed primarily for personnel participating in clean-up operations, volunteer clean-up activities, emergency response operations, and the storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous chemicals or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. HAZWOPER 40 Hour is necessary for personnel working on a government-mandated project involving uncontrolled hazardous waste operation.
